Top Up TV Anytime Box patched to v2.88
We've heard that a new version of Top Up TV Anytime software is being rolled out from 8th November 2007. This reportedly offers: EPG & VOD Search, an expanded the Synopsis window, improvements to Series link and VOD downloads, and some other user interface changes. Just updated my non-subscription box and was initially horrified to discover my library and programme guide were missing. However a call to TUTV remedied the problem. I had to remove the TUTV card from the its slot and restart the box. The new functions are a little clunky but nonetheless welcome.
When will TiVo return.....sigh......
Further to my recent post - It seems there's a bug in the new software. If you enable the search guide function then this may cause the guide, library and programs to be recorded areas not to display. this is a pain as the new search function is a great feature.
