BBC reception on PC
May 6th, 2012 at 12:35pm

I constantly have problems accessing BBC radio through my computer. Today I can get BBC TV, through the iplayer, any other non BBC station eg Rai,  Capital FM but cannot get any BBC radio station to play live, whether try through the radio page or through the iplayer. I can get most listen again programmes. This problem seems particularly bad at weekends.  Any ideas what is going wrong and what I might be able to do to solve it? I use Firefox.

I done a lot of work on media players in browsers and I'm forever pulling my hair out! Even HTML5 player attributes work for some browsers and not for others. This page does give you a choice - you can select HTML5 player or a Flash Player and see what works for you! It's at digisender.tv/radio
