bbc channels in wrong order on my 9150T (Read 377 times)

radiodardar Newbie Offline 2 great radio stations 1 great website Posts: 5	bbc channels in wrong order on my 9150T Jun 22^nd, 2012 at 1:39pm Due to switchovers and extra channels added i now receive bbc channels from the south ( i am in the west) on my humax 9150T which are weak signals and all the bbc channels for the west are down in the 800 channel numbers. Any idea how i can change this?

andyfras Guru Offline Posts: 9284 Fleet, Hampshire	Re: bbc channels in wrong order on my 9150T Reply #1 - Jun 22^nd, 2012 at 10:07pm You need to do a factory reset or delete all channels (TV and radio) before rescanning. If you are in an area where more than one transmitter can be received, you may need to use manual tuning in order to limit the channels to your chosen transmitter.

Do a Installation | Default Setting and when you see the Automatic Channel Search begin, press "OK" immediately to halt it.

Then set Installation | Manual Search | Network Search | Disabled, then Manual Search each of the RF values pertaining to the TV signal "Groups" applicable to "West" region TV at your location; except "Group BBC B HD" which isn't compatible with non-Freeview HD equipment.

If you live in the Gloucester area and your aerial is aimed at Ridge Hill TV mast, you can opt to have ITV West's regional news (instead of ITV Central's) tuned on Freeview channel/LCN 3, if it hasn't been by an Automatic Search. However, the BBC offers only BBC West Midlands' regional news from this TV mast.
