BBC Radio 7 Renames as Radio 4 Extra

BBC Radio 4 Extra LogoBBC Radio 7, the comedy and drama channel from the Beeb, renamed to BBC Radio 4 Extra today, the 2nd of April 2011.

The station will continue to offer a mix of classic BBC comedy and drama, and will offer extra content to supplement the mainstream Radio 4 channel, such as extra content for fans of radio soap The Archers.
