FA Cup to air in 3D

3D LogoThe 14th of May is a big day in the sporting calendar – The FA Cup Final between Manchester City and Stoke

This year, it will be available to watch at home, and in selected pubs, in 3D, thanks to sports channel ESPN. A deal between ESPN and Sky will allow those with a 3D TV set and a Sky+ HD box to watch the cup final in 3D for the first time (assuming you don’t count being there in real life)

Apparently, this year’s  UEFA Champions League final will also be available to view on Sky’s 3D channel, and we’ve been told to expect further announcement about shared sporting events from ESPN and Sky in 3D.

Details of how to get Sky 3D can be found on our 3D At Home Explained page.
