TView Movie Service Removed After 2 weeks

A couple of weeks ago, a new service, TView, appeared on Freeview channel 32. The Tview service allowed Freeview viewers to watch a small selection of movies by paying for access using an SMS text message, and getting a viewing PIN in return.

After just two weeks, the service has been removed. A message on the Tview website confirms the removal of the service, calling it a “trial”. There’s also a cryptic message stating “We have new plans that we will be announcing in due course.”

The channel, still labelled “Big Deal”, now seems to be broadcasting “The Jewellery Channel”
