I assumed it was either my fault or because I was using it on a modulator. When it refused to work on another TV and scart socket I returned the product. The manufacturers were very good, admitting that I had a box from a faulty batch/design and gave me a better one which works perfectly. I would give the company and my new box 5* |

I tried to set it up by tuning to the modulated RF output, but the picture was very bad, especially in colour. I even tried relocating the aerial and changing the RF output number, but all still bad. So I connected via Scart, which is inconvenient as I have a lot of Scart connected items and I am now often having to change Scart connectors. But at least the picture via Scart is very good, so my aerial must be OK. The manual is very bad and didn't even say whether the bright, or dull, red LED is on or off (standby). (Dull is ON). Neither the volume or mute buttons work, so I have to use the TV remote. There ought to be a separate button for Favourites as enabling this means the normal use of the up/down channel buttons is replaced by favourites only, and other channel numbers have to be entered manually. |
