I live in a weak signal area which caused the Tevion to suffer picture breakup on ITV, C4 and E4 etc. The Topfield has never had any reception problem. The 7 day EPG is always populated with out any gaps. Installing the 'Mystuff' Tap is a must as it turns a good PVR in to a great PVR. Visit www.toppy.org.uk for information about the Topfield TF5800. It does everything you'd want from a PVR....and more! Its really easy to use, looks great, well laid out remote, vast possibilities with TAPS (little programs you can run on it to change what it does and how it looks). I had a humax before and even though that was good its been really kicked into touch by the toppy! Not only can you record 2 channels at the same time but, depending on which channels they are, you can also watch a further 2! Was this review helpful to you?   (Report this)

We rarely watch a programme live. We tend to use half the memory then catch up. Picture quality is great. I have started extending recording times (10 mins)as we have had a few programmes cut off.
