Just try using their support line it really is the pits! Nokia should hang their heads in shame. This STB continually locks-up, response from the handheld is slow. there is no 7 day EPG, the process to switch between TV and radio is just rubbish. My advise is this: If you see one of these boxes then stay well away...their performance is poor, exceeded only by that of NOKIA support. Who should hang their heads in shame. Give it a rating of one star?...thats an insult to a 1 star STB...this product is in a class of its own! Was this review helpful to you?   (Report this)
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: Nokia 221T    Post Date: Dec 24, 2005 Reviewer: David Oliver from Fareham, U.K. - See all reviews by David Oliver Review: I bought this box on the strength of the glowing report in the Which magazine, I wish I hadn't.Surely this puts into doubt anything you read in that magazine.This set top box has been nothing but trouble, it keeps locking up, if you try to get on screen information about a programme it comes up for a second then goes off and says no information available. In short dont touch this freeview box with a bargepole it is a pile of junk. i have now bought the Sony one and it is brilliant,wish I had bought it in the first place instead of relying on the report in the Which rag. It locks up so much I fitted an inline power switch to reset it. Nokia support do not want to know. Never been any software upgrades. Just bought a Sony - quicker, has EPG and works with video.
