The first died within a week, but its replacement is still going strong. I agree with the comments about the epg, though. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful: Do not bother with thomson.    Post Date: Sep 12, 2007 Reviewer: Emma from Nottingham, UK - See all reviews by Emma Review: I got a top-up tv box for my birthday, the thomson DTI2300, after my parents decided virgin media was too expensive, & after having an alright quality service with virgin media it was a shock to receive such poor quality picture & sound from the thomson. the remote & receiver promptly stopped talking between themselves, whenever there is high wind the picture becomes scrambled, & despite having the top-up card (which we still pay monthly for) the extra channels never came through. it's just about to go out of warranty so i'm planning on returning it before it packs up after reading these other reviews. do not buy this, it is a TOTAL waste of money.
