Review:
Overall the FVRT145 is a good little unit, its quiet (considering lots of people complain about the fan noise on PVR’s) very user friendly, recording is a doddle and picture quality is very good. Also the twin tuner works exceptionally well.

My only couple of niggle’s with the unit are that within the programme guide there is not an option or the ability to skip whole pages of the guide you have to scroll down each individual channel, which is very annoying if you want to find what’s on channel 25 (say).

Also when you flick onto a channel it doesn’t tell you what you are watching, which I consider to be a very basic and standard function to have. If you want to see what you’re watching you have to flick to the programme guide, as opposed to pressing an info button (or similar). Hopefully someone will realise these niggles and send a software update to correct it. Overall it is a good little unit indeed, I would recommend it, despite its basic faults, and for about £125 its worth it
