It has an easy to use 7-day TV guide with enough internal memory to load the whole guide so there is no waiting around for listings to load up on the fly as with some guides. There are favourite lists for customisation. Channels can be locked if desired. The internal processor is fast- running at 252 mhz 350 mips. Text services work very quickly. The photo card viewer is a nice thing to have. It accepts the following cards: Compact Flash 1+2 Secure Digital Smartmedia Multimedia card Memory Stick XD Manual viewing or automatic slide show is possible.Picture rotation too.Pictures can be enlarged to fit the whole tv screen.Thumbnail selection is also possible. It has timers for recording and a sleep timer function to put the box to sleep at a certain time. It has 4/3 panscan,4/3 letterbox or 16.9 There are RGB/PAL/S-Video options. There is a gimicky radio mode option. It uses a seperate power brick supply. You can’t stand anything on top of it because of its shape. Also it has an AV button. That seems to be about it. |
