How to get Sky Sports 1 and 2 on Freeview

Now, you're able to watch Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 without needing to get a satellite dish, or sign up to Sky. These two channels are available via a TV aerial.

Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 are now listed on the Freeview Channel Lineup, but how do you get them?

There are two ways to get the Sky channels:

  1. Top Up TV LogoTop Up TV: You can get Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2 and ESPN without contract. You'll need a subscription card and a set-top box that has a suitable card slot. Top Up TV can provide both of these. Plug the viewing card into the box, and the box into your TV and TV aerial. The sports channels are delivered via an aerial, and there's no need to get a dish or broadband. At the time of writing, a set-top box is needed - a TV set with a card slot isn't suitable. For more details on how to get Sky with Top Up TV, go to topuptv.com/skysports
  2. BT Vision LogoBT Vision. This is BT's digital TV service and combines live TV from Freeview with on-demand content over BT Broadband. Sky Sports 1 and 2, plus ESPN, are available using a BT Vision box that you connect to your TV via SCART or HDMI lead. For more details, go to btvision.bt.com, or see our BT Vision Explained page
