Electronic Programme Guide, or EPG

Do most (if any) freeview set-top boxes have this feature? If so, which? It doesn't say on the listings for the receivers on this site. ???

Most ,but not all, (some cheap Bush models, to name one that I know of, do not have MHEG support or guide) have this feature, currently restricted to "Now" and "Next" information on the "Official" guide.
This is planned to be upgraded to 7 day in the near future on an area by area basis.
I believe a trial is already underway in Wales and possibly London with other areas to follow.
Some boxes may not support the 7 day version however.
Also some new boxes use an alternative guide broadcast on channel 704 which is not available on a normal box.

Every box, including the cheap BUSH DFTA4 (refered to above) has an EPG, albeit only now and next.

When the official Freeview EPG is released for the 7 days, only some boxes will support it (those whose manufacturers still support the box)

Will Goodmans boxes support this? It's not on the supported list but can/will they update the software so it works?

Greg...

You've no hope expecting Goodmans to do a software upgrade....There are only two guys working in their technical department and they spend all day answering customer technical complaints....

I'm lumbered with the GBD1....big mistake buying that...
