Channel One launched on the 3rd of September 2010, and was a relaunch of the digital TV channel Virgin 1. The channel had to change its name after Virgin Media announced the sale of the channel to Sky in June 2010. The channel stopped broadcasting in February 2011 as part of a channel shakeup performed by owners BSkyB.
