DAB SIMULATION USING MATLAB
Aug 26th, 2005 at 8:18am

Smiley Hi Guys I've made DAB simulation using Matlab. I just want ur opinion.

I used simulink's block set that could describe the DAB technique. My references are ETSI EN 300.401(09-2001), OFDM Book writen by Prassad and some article from internet.

From simulink's block-set i got :
- convolutional coder
- frequency and time interleaver
- QPSK data mapper
- DQPSK modulator
- multipath and awgn channel

But there is strong notice about that simulation, u won't get description about data or signal format because simulink' block set doesn't support it. And bcause of it too u wont get how synch. channel works in DAB system.

U only get strong description if u simulate it using matlab, pascal or C language algorithm.

Thank U for Ur Attention

Hi dodo,

I would really appreciate to test your piece of software!
Where can I get it?

Cheers,

hi...!
i need to simulate OFDM part in DAB. could u please tell me whether i have to generate the DQPSK symbols directly or should i start from the intial process of multiplexing the FIC and CIF and then generate the dqpsk symbols..?

Hi everyone,
i am also trying to simulate the DAB with Matlab/Simulink and i don't know how to set the values for the OFDM modulation.
I would be very pleased if you could send to me the complete DAB simulink-file. If it is possible from anyone who finished his project yet i'll give you my e-mail...it's really important for me... Wink Cry
