Press TV button on the Sky remote control, then release
and then Hold Select and red together
until the red light at the top of the Sky remote flashes twice.
Press these numbers 990, and the LED at the top of the remote blinks twice.Press 1, take note of the number of red LED blinks, as this indicates the first digit of the code.
If no lights appear then the first number is zero.
My example from memory was Sky Remote version 8. LG TV and the code 0206
So 1 has ZERO lights
So 2 has TWO lights
So 3 has ZERO lights
So 4 has SIX lights.

I received a Sky callback and asked about Sky remote controls. They are now telling me they have no remaining stock. I bought 4 on eBay for less than £18. The packages contained a Sky remote manual with different processes that help control our TV, as listed by the manufacturer.
There are variations for the model numbers of the remote controls, such as versions 8, 9 and 10. I ordered the v9 models. Model URC1652-20R00 for the Sky+ set-top box Rev 9R.
The previous post about the 990 code helps to learn existing codes, such as 2427 for the Hisense 4K Smart TV.
Press the TV key, then hold the Select and red keys for 2 seconds, to show the 2 flashing remote control lights.
Then press 990, then press the 1, followed by 2, 3 and 4 to see the zero flash light or count the flash lights.The Sky remote manual must be kept safe and available for future settings to test.

Just follow these instructions to get your TV and Sky box working together.For Standard Remote Controls
Step 1: With your TV and Sky box turned on, press the “TV” button on your Sky remote.
Step 2: Press the red button and select button together for 2 seconds and release. The red button on your Sky remote should blink twice.
Step 3: Enter the digits for your TV manufacturer and press “Select”. The red light should blink twice.
Step 4: Press the TV button again and try turning the volume up and down – if it works, then you’ve completed this process.
