  I’ve watched the YouTube video about this and the official closure is for July 2024 to help reduce Channel 4’s costs.
  
  Note that a BBC TV Licence Tax offers other companies nothing. Even so, I wouldn’t pay Channel 4 anything for their TV channels anyway. I already get these on a Sky+ HD set-top box without any subscription to Sky.
