What is 4oD?
Channel 4 launched 4oD at the end of 2006. 4oD, standing for 4 On Demand, is Channel 4’s catch-up TV service. With 4oD, you can watch recent Channel 4, E4 and More 4 programmes over the Internet. Much of Channel 4’s back-catalogue of TV shows is also available over 4oD.
You can watch via a web browser on your computer, or on a TV set with some digital TV providers.

You can access Channel 4’s service on a computer, and on some digital TV services:

4oD is available on a Windows PC, Mac or Linux device. You don’t need to install any special software, although you will need to have Adobe’s Flash Player installed. To watch 4oD shows, go to www.channel4.com/programmes |
BT Vision  |
BT Vision lets you watch over 40 TV channels, and also offers hundreds of hours of on-demand content over Broadband. BT Vision lets you access 4oD on your TV, as well as catch-up TV from BBC, ITV and Five. Full details of BT Vision: BT Vision Site |
Virgin Media  |
Virgin offers content from 4oD on your TV over their cable TV network. To get Virgin Media, you need to live in a Virgin Media coverage area. Full details of Virgin’s Cable TV service: Virgin Media site |
TalkTalk TV  |
TalkTalk TV (formerly Tiscali TV) offers live TV via an aerial, and other TV services over a phone line. Tiscali carries content from Channel 4 4oD. Why is blackish not shown, it’s on e4 but hard to find and no catch up.
Why do I have to go through all this just to watch a programme.
Why can’t I access 4 app on my TV when I try and to access all I get is black screen
Dear Sir
Having watched 120 episodes of Brookside on STV I now find I am unable to continue watching any further on 4oD.
4oD announced you would be streaming all episodes but you seem to have disabled the button to allow viewing all episodes and only select episodes are available?
I do sincerely hope this has not been stopped due to political correctness of the content of older shows like Brookside as I feel my past is being erased already.
Can you please update me on this matter as I see many people are searching the same question on Google so it must have a high demand.
