New Financial Year for 2026/2027, and this is a new discount forum topic.

http://www.groceries.morrisons.com
I tested the NOW delivery for a 60-minute delivery charge of £3 yet I’m getting a £10 discount. The minimum delivery would have been £1.50, so this is £1.50 extra.
No returns on the order. No cancellation on the order. It’s a gamble. Maximum item order of 6 My order was for 28 items in all.
Some items have increased so much that I couldn’t bother with them. Some items ordered were reported as out of stock. I used the fast10 voucher code. The overall savings were £23 and £7. A total saving of £30. I paid £43 this time.
The Mystery Tour begins.

Morrisons? Substitutions!
Charged £4.40 extra.
I paid £47 instead.
Oh, DEAR, what a pity, never mind…
£7 saving now reduced by £4.40.
In the meantime, I got about 6 extra account emails offering the fast10 discount.

£15 off a £60 order, plus free delivery, just in time for Monday, the 6th of April 2026.
£24 of item savings plus £15 plus £4 delivery. At least £40 saved this time…
Cheaper bread and milk.

5 April 2026 at 5:43 pm #5409
15 T-shirts for £40 and I get free delivery and a free sports watch.
It can help to keep a note of the account number and the voucher number as well.
Several emails received today, on 05.04.26, if I wanted to get extra watches.
Since my last order, the flannel shirts I ordered have increased in price, so I didn’t order those.
Sometimes, an item is still on sale but the required size isn’t available.

I’m subscribing to Amazon Prime at 99p for 1 week’s access. So I can watch videos and save on the delivery charges, too.
The LOIS and CLARK Superman TV series is a nice reminder of the Superman adventures rather than the opposite adventures of The Boys, which returns for Season 5, with episodes 1 and 2 showing from the 8th of April and continuing into May 2026.
The Amazon subscription grants access to Morrisons and the Co-op and their discount deals, but these seldom compare with the http://www.morrisons.com discounts and their website prices. It’s whatever you can get for the email account being used.

I use the Integral 32GB drive for the Hisense TV recordings. This time I ordered 10 for the average charge of £4 each including free delivery instead of the charge £7 each and higher. Hopefully, saving £30 or more.
The Morrisons £10 off a £60 order was going to get reduced because of the £1.50 delivery. Along with various reduced prices I hope to save about £15 this week.
I recently signed up for £5.99 on Netflix to watch Wrestlemania over Saturday and Sunday.
No discount, but I enjoyed some of the Ryan Reynolds films including the Rock and Gal Gadot in the film Red Notice.
There are a few Superhero films added recently such as THE FLASH and BLUE BEETLE. Others in this genre also looked interesting.

I received an ASDA discount to my email account. Save £20 on a £60 order, minimum delivery £1.50.
So I saved £18.50 and I stocked up once again!

Hello, there. Here’s the info. Yes, the General Chatter forum has the new link usually at the top of the topics and if we scroll down about a dozen links we see the word Discounts and the ways to help us pay the TV Licence Tax. The original discounts are up to the start of the new financial year of 2026 to 2027, and the link is: http://www.radioandtelly.co.uk/forums/topic/discounts-help-us-pay-the-tv-licence-tax-and-more or the shortcut: http://www.tinyurl.com/radiotelly The discounts then continue on the new forum discussion link: http://www.tinyurl.com/radiotelly2026 I’ve added these shortcuts as new tags seen at the start of the new topics. I can also save these topics as a complete web page using the Ctrl+S command.

Here is an important way to create a new post or a reply. Just keep all the text as a single paragraph (as I edited above) because each line gap may create yet another advert that distracts from the information.

Bank Holiday items for sale and I ordered 5 items and used the 25% discount to save £11 and I got free delivery. I ordered the M6106 sports trousers and the eventual cost was about £7 each.
A lot of long sleeve shirts were available at about £10 each, yet the Summer wear style for short sleeve shirts was also available.
The sale included the menswear and the womenswear so the filters can sort out the filters to suit each customer eg Brand and sold by Atlas For Men.

As a follow-up to testing alternatives to the Amazon Firestick, I watched a YouTube video called: The Firestick Killer? H96 Max Just Might Be The Perfect Replacement. http://www.youtube.com (Curiosity Cafe) as recent as the 2nd of May 2026. I got it on eBay for less than £20 so maybe it helps a little to learn what still works on this thingy. http://www.ebay.co.uk H96Max is the one sold in the purple box and eBay sellers add the specification details and customer feedback, too. It’s another 4K HDMI stick with settings and apps. Perhaps useful and user-friendly after doing the app setups and registrations. Perhaps recordable if using the HDMI to Scart adapter to connect to a DVD Recorder? Some PC monitors also provide the HDMI connector option, but the best displays are seen using 4K Smart TVs on higher than the 32″ screen displays.
Otherwise, use the rear panel HDMI input for the clearest text displays allowing for what the TV sharpness setting provides within the 1 to 25% range allows.-

http://www.groceries.morrisons.com new customer £15 off order 1, £12 off orders 2, 3 and 4. NB code used for first order is new15off. It may have to be used for further orders to get these savings. Click Accounts link: Set up delivery address and instructions and payment details. I saved about £18 on discounts and £15 on new customer code less £1.50 for late-night cheaper delivery. Over £30 saved this week.

http://www.ebay.co.uk Recent order for 2 items and delivery was less than £20, but the usual price would be nearly £50, so I saved £30 this week. Check for make offer auctions as the seller may agree to a lower price that way.

new customers could save £51. The MSE latest tips guide shared the details:
When you spend £60+ you get £15 off your 1st shop, then £12 off your 2nd, 3rd and 4th
If your household hasn’t ordered from Morrisons* online before, you can get £51 off your groceries, spread across four shops, when spending £60+ each time. You’ll get £15 off your first shop, then £12 off your second, third and fourth. To get this deal:
Register online at Morrisons*. If you’ve previously ordered from Morrisons Now (its fast delivery service), and not regular Morrisons, you can still get this deal.
Add £60 or more of eligible shopping to your basket (see below for exclusions).
Enter the code new15off at checkout by 11.59pm on Sunday 24 May.
Seven days after your first order, a second code will be emailed to you. You’ll be able to use this code three times within one month of your first order and get £12 off a £60+ shop each time.
The discount codes only apply to each order as you go, so if you do all four shops, this essentially works out as £51 off £240+. You don’t have to do all four shops, so you could just use the initial £15 off £60+ code if that’s all you want.
Codes cannot be redeemed against the following: Morrisons Now orders, pharmaceuticals, tobacco, fireworks, postage, alcohol, stamps, infant milk/formula, gift coupons, gift cards, lottery online game and instant tickets, ‘top-up’ phone cards, e-top-up, digital Christmas Saver Stamps, delivery charges, and carrier bag charges.

When British Gas launches new fixed tariffs, we could switch to a short fix or a long fix. If we have a fixed tariff and then switch to a new fixed tariff, there are no exit fees. However, it is not exactly helpful in the current year of 2026. The April fix has been granted a discount after the Government removed its extra charges. The new tariffs may not include any discounts at all from July 2026. I’m one person in the home paying standing charges of up to £300. If I switch now, I will lose out on my existing costs and incur an additional £250 per year. That’s an extra £500 over the next 2 years. The bill is getting increased from less than £1200 to over £1400 per year. I’ve got to stay with my tariff until it ends and then accept what follows. Government Pension costs may increase by 4%, while energy costs are expected to rise by £250. So about half of the increased Pensions seem to pay for energy increases. The Winter Fuel discount may help if pensioners get this.
Is it any wonder that more customers now surf online for coupon codes, vouchers and seasonal offers? There are special offers for new customers on the Morrisons and Ocado websites. Those living alone must order over £60 to qualify for the maximum discount deals granted for 4 or more orders.

If we could only find a good movie to watch and not pay a penny extra, then that’s good enough for me:
https://agoodmovietowatch.com/
People review the top films or moooovies. The Internet Movie Database provides its ratings, such as 7 out of 10 and higher. Rotten Tomatoes is yet another film review service. The recommendations are uploaded to the website linked above. So, it’s worth bookmarking for special categories that can be useful in our search results.
http://www.imdb.com and http://www.rottentomatoes.com and http://www.justwatch.com
http://www.sky.com and http://www.virginmedia.com can provide extra details and reviews. Check your set-top box for its film displays and any film trailers. Catch-up TV options also provide TV channels with their lists of movies and TV shows for the family or adults. Many Internet downloads are in SD quality. Some are in HD quality. Choose what you can, and remember that limited storage on a Sky+ or Sky Q set-top box may limit your options and necessitate the deletion of content later. -

The Ocado supermarket offers turn up on the Internet or through our front door letterboxes. If I follow this latest offer, I make myself subscribe as a new customer and use the 5 voucher codes for 15% up to 30% discounts and a maximum of £80 saved but a single person living alone may not always require over £300 of shopping orders. Maybe just the first 2 orders are enough for 30% then down to 25% off.
Maybe your voucher codes are different to mine…

FAB15 is the 15% discount for items sold by selected sellers. Minimum order £10 and maximum discount £75.
This isn’t the best 20% off but it could still be helpful. The code offer ends on the 22nd of May 2026.
PERK5OFF is a single offer for LOCAL items. This ends on the 31st of December 2026. See Terms and Conditions here:
https://pages.ebay.co.uk/coupons/2026/p5kerffo/
I bought 600 new DVD-R single use ACU-DISC discs instead of the Maxell DVD-R discs. I saved by not spending over £60 more for these brand new ACU-DISC 16x discs.
I’m going to make a second Morrisons shopping order using my £12 off voucher code for a £60 order. I’ve got 2 more times after this to use that voucher code.
http://www.groceries.morrisons.com
I got an Ocado leaflet offering discounts but it wouldn’t let me use their code as I had ordered from the same address before.

The second Morrisons order only qualified for the £12 discount once I ordered over £70. So now I save £25 on those orders and £12 on the voucher. The late-night delivery is £1.50. I’m testing new items as well.

New customer with repeat orders to save £12 using a voucher. The item savings were £23. This means I save £33, after paying the £1.50 for a late-night delivery.
The voucher code was valid for orders of £ 60 or more. My order didn’t include any alcoholic drinks. They don’t count for a £60+ qualifying order.

I’m not sure if benefit claimants get the TV Licence Tax included now as part of the cost of living, but the UK Chancellor has announced extra benefits for businesses and families. I don’t seem to get diddly squat…
The Bank Holiday Savings offers for the books I wanted to buy have varied dramatically in the last few years. One book up to double the previous cost, and elsewhere, about half extra, but no extra significant discount.
Amazon wanted an extra £4 per book on what previously cost £12, yet elsewhere, the cost was closer to £11 using a 15% discount. So I bought enough to pay just over £100 to get an extra £10 off voucher after the sale.
http://www.amazon.co.uk
http://www.re-vived.com
http://www.eden.co.ukNIV New Testament and The Action Bible New Testament.
Sometimes Amazon offers a £5 off deal, but I haven’t seen those for any of my account emails. There were no 99p offers for Amazon Prime for a week.
Atlasformen has recently granted a 25% discount, so you buy 4 and pay for 3. Maybe later there will be an offer to buy 3 and pay for 2.

I bought a Windows 7 computer, monitor, mouse and keyboard for less than £35 including the delivery. A clean installation but Internet Explorer doesn’t act well as a web browser, so I must try other web browsers instead.
I connected the PC and its mouse and connected a set of earphones. I switched to one of my white wide keyboards instead. The PC is displayed on a 32″ LG TV thanks to its PC connector on the rear panel. This displayed the 1920×1080 pixel size on the screen. The Ethernet cable was connected to the PC and that’s how I got access to SOME websites. The Kingston Integral 32GB USB drive was installed so I formatted this to a quick format FAT32 and 32KB setting. It’s different for over 32GB USB drives.
The PC monitor, stand and cables were left as spares since medium-sized PC monitors aren’t as user-friendly as a 32″ TV screen display can be for reading the small fonts and text.
The alternative to a clean install is to be from refurbished PC sellers and they provide different Windows PCs but who knows what will happen with the recent Windows versions and whatever updates they offer or force upon the PCs?
NB some sellers offer discount deals up to 20% when eBay offers the latest discount deals often displayed on the home page or in our eBay emails.

I’m mentioning getting a PC because they usually work better than Internet devices and especially those devices with different ways to save videos or images.
H96Max Android device Product Review. (Version 14, purple box)
The H96Max Android streaming device can click on a video download link and save it. For an image, I select SHARE then select FX for the FX File Manager app I installed. Then I scroll along to the final URL such as .html and use the backward delete X to clear that away to get to the jpg part. Then I can select OK to download that once I select the destination, such as the main drive or the inserted USB 32GB drive made by Kingston Integral. Then I select its Download folde and store the pasted or moved files there. Yes, it’s possible, but a difficult process when trying to download several items. Contrast all that lot with what a computer can do. The H96Max needed me to fit extra cables to add the USB into the device itself and an external mouse with the left and right buttons and the scroll bar. The additional cables are connected to a UK 3-point power plug just to get things working. These increase the prices by another £10 to £15 than the H96MAX costs.

The special deal of £51 off 4 shop orders works OK for the first order, but then a new voucher code must be sent, and we may not be able to use that in time. If we received the same offer to a different email account, then use that rather than wait.
The order was made with the same code as the first email account. I saved about £50 on my second email account, and both orders will be delivered at the same time this evening.
Visit the website and register again if you haven’t already received more than one email account offer.

I set up 2 orders and saved over £70 this weekend.
I visited the TEMU website and ordered 10 sets of towels and paid £65. So I paid half price on those.
I ordered a few extra items on eBay including a second H96MAX stick to surf the Internet for £19. That was cheaper than those sold during the Amazon Prime Day Deals.
