SwitchHelp: UK Digital Switchover

SwitchHelp Banner

The SwitchHelp Site was designed for the 2012 Switchover. The Switchover is not complete, so this site is no longer maintained. We keep it live as it still may contain some useful historical information.

See SwitchHelp Index for a list of all pages.

The UK Digital Switchover is complete. On the 24th of October 2012, BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 were no longer broadcast on standard analogue TV in the UK.

To continue to watch TV, you need to have a digital set-top box or a TV set that has a built-in digital TV receiver.
